Here at Great North Homes, we believe in actions, not just empty or popular ‘buzzwords’. So when we say ‘Safe’, we’ll show you the secure doors we’ve installed or demonstrate we’ve removed or encapsulated asbestos, or fully rewired a home with dodgy electrics.
When we say ‘Warm’ and ‘Comfortable’, we’ll show you how and where we’ve improved thermal efficiency with new or additional insulation, replaced or serviced boilers or installed new windows and doors. We like fixing problems introduced by previous owners, typically around keeping heat where it should be, (in the living space!).
Sustainability, (and energy efficiency), is at the heart of everything we do, from reusing or recycling materials, maintaining and improving property performance (and improving their Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings), to sourcing local tradespeople for a sustainable local economy.
